Live Events at Camp Decrypt and Web Summit in 2022 showcased a variety of presentations and panels on how NFTs and other blockchain technologies are being utilized for storytelling, fundraising, and other projects.

At Camp Decrypt, a panel of four NFT experts discussed how their work incorporates NFTs for storytelling. Lost Children of Andromeda author Jason Michael Primrose, Amanda Terry of Metagood and ACTAI Ventures, Artemysia-X of LorePlay, and Kas Vegas of NFT INT, Huxley, and Feature.io all talked about their various NFT projects, moderated by What’s Trending podcast host Shira Lazar.

The Crypties 2022: Highlight Reel event was held at Art Basel in Miami in December 2022, to recognize excellence in the crypto space. The gala was hosted by Josh Ostrovsky, „The Fat Jewish,“ and sponsored by a range of projects such as Polygon, Filecoin Foundation, Lamina1, Async, BeetsDAO, The Gold Mask, Gem Set, Breakout, Anonymous, Infinite Objects, Ape Water, Decentralized Pictures, and Vault 721. Awards were presented in nine categories.

At Web Summit in Lisbon, Tezos co-founder Kathleen Breitman talked about the Tezos blockchain’s proof-of-stake mechanism and its uses, Ethereum and its sharding progress, and Decrypt’s Stephen Graves discussed NFT gaming.

Finally, at 0xpo Summit in San Francisco, a panel of venture capitalists discussed fundraising in a bear market. Clay Robbins of Slow Ventures, Soona Amhaz of Volt Capital, Sarah Guo of Conviction and formerly Greylock, and Alex Strzesniewski of AngelBlock all gave their insights on the current crypto market.
